R.I.S.E - Recovery In A Supportive Environment

We see RISE as a place where people in all stages of recovery can come to find connection through a supportive community one peer to another.

The main goal of the peer-to-peer model is to engage and encourage peers in all stages of recovery, from whatever they may be recovering from, to learn to live a more productive life and share their knowledge and experience with other members of the center. This model creates an environment where one peer helps another to the betterment of both. Staff are always on site during open hours but play a minimal role. The heartbeat of the center is one peer helping another. Staff is available to provide any additional resources that may help peers in this process and engage one on one to assist in overcoming barriers that the individual may be facing.

As a recovery support community, we can be the voice for those who feel they are not being heard, while empowering them to advocate for themselves and walk proudly through their healing process. We are nurturing a community where people in recovery from any life controlling issue can find sanctuary, connection, and a sense of dignity while they address their own personal, specific needs. Each peer has a voice. Each peer has influence. Each peer is vital in supporting others in finding freedom through personal recovery.
